Areas of use

It is used to bring the coating products based on alkyd resins to the application viscosity, as a cleaning agent for the application equipment, for degreasing the surfaces before painting.

Appearance: homogeneous, transparent liquid, without mechanical impurities.
Relative density at 20°C: 0.80 ± 0.015 g/cm³ (STAS 35/1981).
Color: max 64 mg K2Cr2O7/l (STAS 5285-64).
Acidity index: 1 cm³sol.KOH (STAS 5106-73, met IV).
Distillation range: 120 – 200°C (STAS 9161/1981; SR ISO 918-94).
Relative volatility: max 50 (PSCL-MC-056).
Refractive index, nD²º: 1.440 ± 0.015 (SR 7573:1995).
Flash point: min 22°C (SR EN 456:2002).
Packaging, transport, storage, shelf life
PACKING: Packaging: 500ml; 1 l.
Marking: Manufacturer’s name, Material name, Type, color, Batch, Date of manufacture/expiration, Nominal volume/net quantity.
Storage and transport: It is stored in dry, ventilated spaces, protected from solar radiation and the weather, in the absence of any sources of ignition at temperatures between 5 – 25°C. Transport not exposed to solar radiation and the weather at temperatures of at least 5°C.
Terms of validity: 36 months from the date of manufacture, in sealed original packaging, respecting the conditions of storage and preservation.

Safety and hygiene measures

It is prohibited:

• The use of electrical equipment and tools that do not comply with the rules in force regarding environments with flammable substances.
• The presence of open fire sources (sparks, flames, smoking).
• Prolonged or frequent contact with the skin and mucous membranes.
• Prolonged or frequent inhalation of vapors.
• Ingestion of the product.
• Fire fighting:
• CO2, chemical dust, sand.

Do not use a concentrated jet of water on the surface of the product. Water is used only for cooling protection.

Precautionary statements
P210: Keep away from heat sources, hot surfaces, sparks, flames and other sources of ignition. No Smoking.
